The itinerary
- Day 01
Arrival in Rome
Airport meet & assist, private transfer to your hotel in the historic centre, and a welcome dinner in a traditional trattoria.
- Day 02
Ancient Rome
A guided tour of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, then an afternoon walk past the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain.
- Day 03
The Vatican & on to Florence
Morning visit to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica, then a high-speed train to Florence and hotel check-in.
- Day 04
Renaissance Florence
A guided walk from the Duomo and Baptistery to Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio, with a reserved-entry visit to the Uffizi Gallery.
- Day 05
Tuscan Hills
A day in the Tuscan countryside with the medieval towers of San Gimignano and a tasting at a family-run wine estate in the Chianti area.
- Day 06
Naples & Pompeii
High-speed train to Naples, then a private coach to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological site beneath Vesuvius. Evening in Naples.
